Continuing in the vein of Ratna and Padma this series
depicts stones and minerals against painted landscapes.
The objects are removed from their natural environment
and are given a new context. Through paying attention
to the details around us, inanimate objects have the
potential to stop our minds. “Things have a life
of their own it is simply a matter of waking up their
