GRAVIDA (1992)
This black and white series is a documentary about a
friend’s gestation. Her face is not visible, and
her emotional expressions are not shown therefore her
personal journey becomes a universal one. Her transforming
body is the only narrator. This visual story is contained
in a harmonic type book, which can be fully opened and
viewed as a landscape..
Technique: Handmade accordian style book with
16 black and white sepia/gold toned photographs.
