Against a background grid of colour and pattern various objects are placed in which the rigor of form is contrasted with the fluidity of nature. The objects used are translucent such as marbles or delicate such as the disintegrated filigree of leaves. Images found within images as well as the notion of what is real verses what is imagined are threads that run throughout this work.

An international graphics company, Roto Smeets, selected to use one of my photographs —shown below— in a gift calendar for their Dutch clients.

The image size used is 80 x 80 cm and the calendar size is 1 meter wide by two meters long.
